This is the latest Channel Islands mid length design and we are stoked with it. Why? Well, where do we begin? For starters, it is a CI follow up with Devon Howard to the now iconic and popular “CI Mid” that we know you love!

Channel Islands and Devon Howard were set out to build a fast and drivey eggish single-fin. A better egg-style, single fin that they have achieved by incorporating a Tri Plane Hull bottom with one of AI’s classic ‘Huevo Caliente’ outlines. Not only that, they updated the rail and rocker profiles and ended up with one of a hell midlength. One that is ready to howl when you are!
What will surprise you about this board is that comes with an amazing amount of trim speed and drive through turns in small surf. This right here is what makes it decisive for long-railed performance in conditions that range from subpar to above average.
We’ve always said that a fin is to much of an important part of a surfboard since it is going to define your surfing experience.
