When two guys like Tom Curren and Brit Merrick get together, only good things can come out of the union. That’s how the Free Scrubber was born. A collaboration between two surfing legends with a heart for great boards and flawless surfing.
Tom wanted a shape inspired by the epic Twin Fins that Britt made for him 40 years back. A little remember of classic fun surfing is what he wanted. He felt the urge to bring back the feel of a lower rocker and a classic V-bottom design that incorporates the traditional winged swallow tail outline of the early 80s.
